Ballet Shoes

Set in Thirties London, Ballet Shoes tells a tale of orphans Pauline, Petrova and Posy Fossil, who are adopted by an eccentric explorer, Gum, and raised as sisters by his selfless niece. The story revolves around each girl's struggle to fulfill her dreams: Pauline longs to be an actress, Petrova yearns to be an aviator, and Posy seems born to be a ballerina. But when Gum disappears, the money runs out - and the girls have a fight on their hands. They struggle to balance personal ambition with the need to survive physically, emotionally, and financially. Pauline, Petrova, and Posy Fossil live with Sylvia Brown, their guardian. Money is tight and as the story opens, three boarders - a garage owner, a retired English professor, and a dance teacher - come to stay. Theo Dane, the dance teacher, has the girls accepted at her school by the formidable Madame, and the three go on the stage to help raise money. Each discovers her talents - Pauline as an actress, Petrova in fixing engines, and Posy as a dancer. Written by Hilary Caws-Elwitt

Emma Watson is my favorite in this movie!

I will say though that this is not a boys movie........it's very girly and has a few girls in immodest clothes. But I  am proud to say that there is not one bad word in the entire movie and nothing else that would NOT be suitable for children!  This was a wonderful movie and it's on the Netflix instant play!
